We offer two free trial classes because we understand how difficult it can be to help your kids get settled in somewhere new.
Please feel free to contact us and we can arrange for you to bring them by to observe, or participate in the trial classes themselves.
Our preschool dance classes are both enjoyable and educational, catering to both girls and boys. Parents are encouraged to stay in the hall as their children learn easy jazz and ballet steps.
Our focus is on nurturing confidence, musicality, rhythm, and listening skills in a fun environment. Children interact with their peers, fostering social skills, and participate in dynamic learning activities with props that make classes engaging.
Additionally, our program enhances gross motor skills, preparing children effectively for their ongoing development, including the transition to kindergarten and beyond.

The A1 Dance Studio, founded in 1999 by Miss Ali, embodies a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere rooted in her rich dance background. Starting her journey at the age of 8 in South Africa, Miss Ali trained in the Cecchetti Method of classical ballet. Her passion for dance led her to the Johannesburg School of Performing Arts, where she delved into various dance styles.
The dance studio, designed with a strong family feel, reflects her dedication to fostering a creative and supportive environment. Miss Ali's mission is to inspire the next generation of dancers and dance teachers, ensuring that students not only learn but also enjoy the process, make new friends, and experience the joy of dance.
Miss Jess has been dancing at A1 Dance Studio since she was 6 years old. Dance is her life; she even managed to make it her “real” job by teaching Creative Arts in a primary school. She loves to encourage her students and see their growth across the year.
Miss Lizzy is a bundle of positivity around the studio. Her spirit for dance has grown every year since she started at A1 in 2012 and she instils that positivity into her students every week. She began helping and teaching in 2017 when she realised her passion for teaching. This passion has grown and she now teaches Kindergarten in a local school.
